Description
Religious intolerance through the years did not squelch the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Romania, which today is the largest in all of Europe. Member priority is first for the Lord and His church, before caring for themselves. One in every three of its 1,056 churches is equipped for satellite evangelismówith help from It Is Written and Three Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN) viewers. Before ACTS 2000, 50,000 laymembers committed themselves to the preparation of this evangelistic campaign. One in three members is dedicated to lay ministry. Such a focus during the past decade has resulted in nearly 55,000 baptisms and 510 new churches. Education is emphasized with strong Pathfinder Clubs, schools from kindergarten through secondary school, a nursing school, and a seminary for training pastors. One in three members is under 30 years of age.
