  Croatia
Description
Croatia includes the medieval city of Dubrovnik which is separated from mainland Croatia by a small coastal Bosnia-Herzegovina region. Nationalism and Roman Catholicism are strongly intertwined, causing some hindrances in the church's outreach. However, Seventh-day Adventist radio programs are accepted by some stations. Separated from the rest of the Balkans, they have their own publishing house--without printing facilities but with state-of-the art computer technology for all pre-press operations--a model for the entire division. Twenty titles are published each year. The Adventist Seminary which once served the Yugoslavian Union is now the sole responsibility of Croatia.
