  Albania 
Description
Mountainous topography and a lengthy coast on the Adriatic Sea have contributed to Albania's isolation from the rest of Europe. Last of the Communist regimes to collapse under reform pressures, Muslim Albania has seen a Seventh-day Adventist growth during the past decade. A young church, with an average age of about 25 years, it is hampered in outreach among those interested in religion by an absence of literature in the Albanian language, and total financial dependence on outside sources. ADRA has a major developmental presence in the country, and a Thirteenth Sabbath Overflow Offering will provide a church and mission headquarters offices in Tirana, the capital city.
