Description
On the southern shore of the blue-gray Baltic Sea, Poland kept its strong cultural traditions and national identity intact throughout its long history of foreign domination. Stemming from the Prince of Polanie (plain dwellers) who was converted to Christianity, the area was ripe for Bible truth until the Stalinist era. Since then, Seventh-day Adventist growth has been sporadic. However, ASI groups such as Springs of Life have printed books of vegetarian recipes and prophecy, and The Great Controversy has been widely distributed. Breathe Free, stress, and family life seminars are well attended, and a new media center produces both video and audio programs. Of every three Adventists, two are over 30 years of age.
